Flooded fields at sunset

I was hoping to see the planetary conjunction but was rewarded instead by a glorious sunset over frozen flooded fields. Brrr! Home to the stove now!

Slow burn

After a dim, dank walk the sun began to burn through the cloud. Ten minutes later there was blue sky, and robins singing.
