Christmas Eve 2020

Taken on my little ‘Patch’ which has helped keep me sane both before and during Lockdown. Here I’ve followed it from Spring into winter, inspired by Melissa’s podcast.

The last couple of miles of Regents Canal as it heads south to Limehouse.

Romanian hay sculptures by Erno Bartha in the boating lake of Victoria Park. They were a temporary installation for 2012 but still endure, and provide a perch for the birds.

Blueberry leaves that have turned colour, but still refuse to fall.

Until today’s cold snap, it was mild, and lots of flowers bloomed early.

Taken on a usual walk on the edge of the village. Great to feel the sun on my face.

Canal walk this morning

The view from my flat is primarily of a construction site, but even that looks beautiful with the sunrise

There’s no sun in the back garden til March but that doesn’t stop him shining bright. 😍

Part of the ‘instant hedging’ I installed this year as part of changes to make the garden a haven for wildlife. I’m looking forward to it covering the whole wall
