Grey winter’s day brightened with green leaves of wild mustard
Christmas Eve 2020
Christmas Eve Sunset
The sun sets behind River Clyde in Glasgow’s East End, as the daylight fades at the end of a perfect winter’s day.
Haytor Rocks and Low Man
Taken from the slopes of Hound Tor where I was searching for the ruins of a medieval village. A walk on Dartmoor is always an adventure of discovery.
Rose in Christmas Eve Snow
The roses in the communal area outside my house on Christmas Eve. A few of the roses from summer remain now dusted in winter snow.
Life between closed close-up buildings
I love how there is growth between buildings, sprouting up from gutters and crevices in city buildings, that despite the lockdown there is life & spring will arrive
Sunset over Worcester
The local racecourse and University playing field have become a lake as the River Severn is in flood once again.
Floodwaters on the Welland
Flood plains are well used in Stamford. Occasionally the fields become a lake, and a brown torrent rushes beneath the town bridge.
