Christmas Day 2020

Trees managing to survive the flooding they’ve had in the past few weeks.

Half the population of Battersea was monitoring the nest through the first lockdown, willing the swans to hatch the eggs safely. Three hatched and the cygnets are nearly grown now.

Took my dog for a very early Christmas morning walk and was struck by the captivating skies – not very artistic, but these skies always remind me of Flash Gordon!

The morning sky from my garden which I try to photograph every morning, a little sight of nature and the changing of the year.
